What does the course entail?

This two-year certificate course is aimed at those students who wish to further develop existing dance skills and knowledge. They may wish to develop their dance skills, seek employment in the dance industry or be accepted into full time training. This course is being delivered through the Australian Teachers of Dancing, which is a respected dance organisation nationally. It is highly practical and allows dancers to experience all different facets of dance in a largely practical setting. Students will be working at a high level and will be working on exciting and authentic projects which will take them into the community to perform and work with other performers. Please be aware that students will be required to attend extra performances and rehearsals when required and will need to attend Kolbe Dance Company.

Pre-requisites
It is important to remember that this qualification is aimed at people who have been dancing consistently for at least two years prior to starting this certificate. It is not for the novice dancer. You must have previous training at a studio or in one of the Kolbe Dance Companies. |
