Design General: Dimensional Design

What does the course entail?

Dimensional design introduces students to the exciting world of design, where problem solving meets creativity. Students will explore the design process, from initial concepts to a final prototype, learning how to transform ideas into real life products.
Through hands-on projects, students will develop skills in sketching, computer aided design, 3D modeling, and prototyping using various materials, techniques and technologies. Emphasis will be placed on problem-solving, communication and creativity.
With an exposure to Design as an industry, different design disciplines (fashion, automotive, product, graphics etc), and design’s place in today's society, students will develop a competitive edge for current and future employment markets. By the end of the course, students will have a portfolio of innovative designs and a solid understanding of the principles and practices of design.
