Students are offered timetabled independent learning time each day to help them achieve their full potential.
ATAR Edge Path students have access to quality ATAR learning resources. Access to the Curtin UniReady (CUR) Academic Writing Unit to develop the writing skills required for university OR a recognised Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) or Service Learning opportunities. Access to Kolbe Year 12 Specialist program. Kolbe ATAR Path students are eligible for valuable ATAR bonus points from various universities. Students will receive tailored support for university scholarship, early offer and end of year applications. |
Available to Year 12 students who achieve a high predicted ATAR (calculated by the Kolbe staff), by the end of Year 11 and plan to study at least 4 ATAR courses in Year 12.
The ATAR Path is best suited to Year 12 students who aspire to go to university. Particularly to courses with an ATAR above 70. ATAR scores required for entry to University courses can be found in the TISC Guide. A student whose desired course at university requires prerequisites. Prerequisite ATAR subjects for University courses can be found in the TISC Guide. Students who are committed to undertake the demanding study load associated with the ATAR path. A student who wishes the flexibility to explore other skills linked to University eg: MOOC's, CUR Academic Writing Unit etc... |
