Alongside 5 SCSA courses, students study a VETDSS course offered by TAFE or Fee For Service courses where a clear industry pathway is the focus.
Industry Path students are strongly encouraged to select the timetabled Futures class that provides the opportunity for structured study time in addition to allowing students to develop competencies using real life simulations and skills practice. With support of invested Kolbe staff, students receive assistance toward their wellbeing and academic load whilst being supported to secure a Workplace Learning host. Completion of the SCSA endorsed Workplace Learning, can earn valuable WACE credit. For more information about Kolbe's Industry partnerships please see the booklet. Please note that additional fees and charges apply ($500) for participation in the Industry Path. These reflect the cost of arranging work placements, insurance, logbooks, work visits, staffing, administration and document verification. |

The Industry pathway is founded on the idea that preparing students for the future goes beyond textbooks and the classroom. The Futures program aims to instill values such as integrity, citizenship, and resilience. Through a curriculum that aligns with real-world experiences, mentorship opportunities and a supportive community, our students aim to graduate with confidence, ready to navigate the challenges and opportunities of the professional world. Being a part of the Futures program, students will be empowered to build a foundation for a successful and fulfilling future. |
